The Board, alongside our dedicated staff, continues to work hard to address issues across the park swiftly and efficiently. We recognize that this season has already brought an unusual number of challenges, many of which have been caused by weather-related incidents or unforeseen accidents. While such events are inevitable from time to time, we acknowledge the recent frequency has been frustrating.
Currently, work is ongoing to determine the root cause of the well pump failure. It's important to remember that our wells were drilled more than 30 years ago. With infrastructure of that age, occasional failures are unfortunately to be expected.
Please rest assured that the Board and General Manager are committed to keeping the membership informed. We will share more details once repairs are complete and the full scope of the issue is known. Our goal is to prevent repeat outages by identifying and resolving the core issues—not just the symptoms.
That said, we must also face the broader reality: many of our park’s facilities have not received the ongoing maintenance they require over the years. As these systems continue to age, more breakdowns will occur unless we begin proactively addressing them.
This brings us to an important point. When you review the upcoming budget proposals, please keep in mind the growing need to fund replacement and repair of critical infrastructure. A well-planned and adequately supported budget is essential if we want to ensure the long-term reliability and enjoyment of the park for all members.
Thank you for your patience and continued support as we navigate these challenges together.
