Karen and I would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to all of you for the incredibly warm welcome we have received this year. The outpouring of love and support from our Riverbend community has been nothing short of overwhelming. From kind words of encouragement to new friendships, we are truly blessed to be part of the journey God has placed before us.
It is our joy and honor to serve you as a ministry team, and we look forward to continuing this work together, season after season.
This weekend, we invite everyone to join us for a special celebration:

A Weekend of Celebration and Commitment
Last weekend was a remarkable time at our chapel as we celebrated the baptism of 13 individuals who boldly declared their faith and committed their lives to God. Each testimony, each step into the water, was a powerful reminder of God’s grace and the transformative journey we share as a community of believers.
Let us give thanks for the incredible work God is doing in each of our lives and in our community.
This past Sunday, we reflected on the journey of walking with God—an ongoing, dynamic relationship rooted in faith, obedience, humility, righteousness, and alignment with His will. Loving God with all your heart and loving your neighbor as yourself provides not only direction and strength for today but also the enduring hope of eternal life.

Kick off our Revival experience with uplifting worship music and a special message. We are honored to welcome Rev. Richard Fox and his wife Mary as our featured music guests for the evening.

Continue the celebration of God’s goodness with inspiring worship music by Rev. Kenny Johnson and an encouraging message delivered by Pastor Derek.

Fill the Pews Presentation – 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM
Join us as we present a check to Kari Thompson, leader of the Recreation children’s crafts. It’s a special way to honor those who make a difference in our community. -
Free BBQ Party – 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Come hungry! We’ll be serving pulled pork, beef brisket, chicken, hot dogs, and hamburgers. There’s something for everyone—bring your appetite and your friends! -
Outdoor Concert – 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Experience an uplifting musical celebration with Spirit Wind and Second Chances, two incredible groups bringing soulful music that lifts hearts toward heaven. Bring your canopies, lawn chairs, family, and friends for an inspiring afternoon of worship and praise.
Sunday Worship
Join us as Rev. Mark Miller leads heartfelt worship songs, preparing our hearts for a meaningful finale. Pastor Derek will deliver his final Revival message—a message you won’t want to miss! Come expecting joy, connection, and spiritual renewal as we celebrate God’s love together.
Bible Study
We are also starting a new Bible study series on Wednesday, August 27th, from 6–7 PM at the chapel. If you’re in the park, join us for an informal evening of conversation, fellowship, and growth in faith.
We are a non-denominational fellowship committed to growing together in love and faith. As 1 John 4:7-8 reminds us:
"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love."
