Park Security and Incident Update: A Quiet but Eventful Month

It’s been a relatively quiet period at River Bend, with security protocols keeping everything running smoothly. While the usual high level of security patrols and monitoring have kept incidents to a minimum, there were still a few noteworthy events that we’d like to report on. Here’s a rundown of what’s happened recently at the park.

1. Routine Security Monitoring and Low Incident Rate

The RBMC security team has been working diligently to ensure the safety and well-being of all our members and visitors. Their constant vigilance has resulted in a period of low incidents, which is always a positive outcome for everyone involved. With patrols happening frequently and thorough monitoring of all areas, They have been able to maintain a secure and peaceful environment at the park.

2. Suspicious Activity Investigation: No Damage Reported

One incident of note was a suspicious situation involving a possible unauthorized entry into an RV. While it initially appeared that someone may have entered the RV without permission, no theft, vandalism, or significant damage was found. A detailed report was filed, and after investigation, we believe we have identified the individual involved. Fortunately, the situation was resolved without any harm to the property or members.

3. Fallen Tree Branch Causes Minor Damage

In another event, a tree branch unexpectedly fell onto a property within the park, causing some mild damage to a structure. Thankfully, no one was injured, and the damage was minimal.  RBMC has taken steps to ensure that the tree in question is properly assessed and that any potential risks are addressed proactively to prevent future incidents.

4. RV Placement Issue: Prompt Resolution

Lastly, we encountered an issue with improper RV placement on a lot in the park. A newer RV was placed incorrectly on one lot, and a dilapidated RV was abandoned on another lot further down. After contacting the owner of the newer RV, the situation was resolved quickly, and the RV was removed without further issue. As for the older RV, it was taken care of at no additional cost to RBMC, ensuring that no members were inconvenienced by the matter.

Conclusion:

While the past month has been relatively quiet, River Bend takes every report seriously and works to resolve any issues promptly.  RBMC's ongoing commitment to maintaining a secure, well-maintained park environment remains a top priority, they we will continue to monitor the situation closely. Should any concerns arise, members are encouraged to reach out to the General Manager.

RBMC thanks you for your continued cooperation and understanding.
