At RBMC, we’re committed to making recycling easy and accessible for everyone. However, due to rising disposal costs, we must stress what we can accept for recycling.
What We Can't Accept
To ensure that we can keep recycling costs manageable and maintain our high standards of environmental responsibility, RBMC is no longer able to accept the following items:
TVs (all types and sizes)
Monitors (including computer monitors and flat-screen TVs)
Glass-screened electronics (such as certain flat-screen TVs)
Tires (any size)
We understand that it may be tempting to dispose of these items at RBMC, but dumping them on our property is not only against our policy but also incurs a fine. We strongly encourage you to dispose of these items through specialized recycling programs or local disposal centers. These items require specific handling that RBMC cannot accommodate, and responsible disposal is key to maintaining a sustainable recycling system.
What We Can Accept
We’re still able to accept a variety of recyclable materials, and we encourage you to continue recycling with us.
For regular metal items, you can place them off to the side for recycling. This includes metal cans, scrap metal, and other similar items. It’s simple, and it’s one of the easiest ways to help reduce waste.
Additionally, we’re thrilled to remind you about our “Cans for Cats” program. By donating your metal cans, you’re not just recycling—you’re also supporting local animal shelters and helping to care for cats in need. Your recycled cans can make a huge difference in supporting our furry friends!
