This week, Spring Mills Electric made important upgrades by installing two transformers—one to improve service and another to replace a faulty unit. Plans are also in the works to resolve additional voltage drop issues, with proposals to be presented soon.

In BH 4, a new water heater has been installed, which should resolve the ongoing hot water problems. As always, due to limited staff, we rely on members to report any plumbing or mechanical issues in the bathhouses. Please help us by keeping an eye on your water hoses and connections—small leaks can waste a significant amount of water. While lot owners are responsible for private lines and hoses, our team is often able to assist with exterior connections, including hose washers and ends. If a leak continues after replacing a washer, the issue may be with our boiler drain connection, and we’re happy to inspect it.

A reminder: Please do not leave your water or AC running when you’re not here. It increases the risk of waste, damage, or even fire.

Unfortunately, struck utility posts continue to be a challenge this year. When damage occurs, we inspect and try to perform temporary repairs to reduce the impact, especially over weekends. However, permanent repairs do require extended shutdowns of power and sometimes water. The best solution is prevention—please take care to avoid damaging posts. (More on that in the Security Report.)

We appreciate your cooperation in keeping things running smoothly!
