This week’s report comes with both serious concerns and a fun community event to look forward to. Please take a moment to read through these important updates:
Zero Tolerance for Staff Abuse
We’ve unfortunately seen a recent increase in verbal abuse toward our staff, including threats of physical violence and racial slurs. This behavior is completely unacceptable.
River Bend has a no-tolerance policy for abuse of any kind. Moving forward:
-
Additional fines and lot restrictions will be issued to the worst offenders.
-
Non-lot owners who engage in abusive behavior will have their passes revoked and receive a Notice to Vacate (NTO).
We are committed to protecting our employees and creating a safe, respectful work environment. Let’s not lose great staff due to the actions of a few. If you have a concern or grievance, please visit the office and fill out a Member Concern Form. We will handle it professionally.
Vandalism in Bathhouse 1
We are also dealing with repeated vandalism at Bathhouse 1, where human waste has been smeared on the walls. This is both a health hazard and completely unacceptable behavior.
Until further notice:
Bathhouse 1 will close when the store closes each day.
Members dining at the Bar & Grill may use the restrooms inside.
Thank you for understanding—we must ensure that our staff are not subject to cleaning up such unsanitary and disrespectful messes.
Pool Party This Saturday!
Let’s end on a positive note—join us for a fun Pool Party this Saturday!
Please note: the pool will open at 1:30 PM on that day due to event prep.
Let’s all do our part to maintain a welcoming, respectful community. Thank you for being part of River Bend, and we hope to see you at the pool!
