Pool Opening Preparations Underway
Preparations for the pool opening are moving along smoothly. Pool permits have been completed and submitted, and management reports that everything is currently on schedule for opening day. Returning staff members are already stepping back into their seasonal roles as summer operations ramp up.
New Pool Manager Announced
Logan, last season’s lead lifeguard, has officially been promoted to Pool Manager for the 2026 season. River Bend is still looking to hire additional lifeguards for the summer. Lot owners and children of lot owners are eligible to apply if they complete and pass a certified lifeguard training course.
Lifeguard Certification Opportunity
Anyone interested in becoming a River Bend lifeguard should note that an upcoming certification class will be held at Shepherd University Pool. RBMC will reimburse the certification cost at the end of the summer season for guards who remain employed throughout the season. Contact the General Manager or Logan for additional details.
