General Manager's Report – Post Memorial Day Weekend Update May 30
We hope everyone had a meaningful and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend at the park.
One of the most frequent complaints was noise and safety concerns involving minibikes, off-road vehicles, and reckless driving.
While we understand the importance of fun for kids and teens, safety and respect must come first. RBMC will enforce a zero-tolerance policy moving forward.
New Rules and Enforcement:
-
Curfew for Minibikes: All minibikes must be off roads and put away by 7:00 PM.
-
Size Limit: Only minibikes 50cc or smaller are allowed.
-
Reckless Driving: Immediate fine and possible additional disciplinary actions.
-
After-Curfew Violations:
-
First to Third Offense: Fines issued
-
Fourth Offense: Automatic 2-week lot restriction
-
-
Evading Security: Documentation, fines, and possible No Trespass Order for operators.
-
Unlabeled Vehicles: Fines for off-road vehicles without clear block and lot numbers.
We want to avoid bans but park safety is paramount. Please ensure your children and guests follow the rules and report reckless driving to security immediately.
Thank you for helping keep RBMC safe and peaceful.

Maintenance Report – Post Memorial Day Weekend Update
The Memorial Day weekend was busy but manageable.
Ongoing Issue:
Misuse of the compactor yard caused extra labor moving bagged trash from open dumpsters to the compactor—using 9 man-hours that could have been spent elsewhere.
Proper Compactor Use:
-
Location: Back center of yard, tan door on left side (facing road)
-
Only bagged household trash goes in
-
If full or cycling, notify Maintenance or Security
-
The start button is on the right side (facing road)
-
Compactor holds twice as much as open dumpsters, saving cost and space
We also see construction debris dumped incorrectly in the burn pile.
We’re improving signage and instructions but may restrict access if misuse continues.
Project Updates:
-
Mini Golf Course is now open and popular with families, with new swings installed.
-
Awaiting scheduling to replace a damaged power pole on Neverglades for permanent electrical repairs.
Let’s keep River Bend clean, safe, and fun!
