We want to take a moment to remind all members about the dues payment schedule and its impact on your electric service.
First Half Dues & Electric Service
If you have not paid your first half dues prior to arriving at the park, please be aware that your electric service will not be turned on. These dues were due by January 31st. If they remain unpaid, you will need to settle the outstanding balance, along with any applicable late fees, before we can restore your electric service.
Additionally, there is a fee for reconnecting your electric service once you arrive. We will provide our maintenance team with a list of accounts requiring service. While we aim to have power restored within 24 hours, please understand that we cannot guarantee a specific timeframe for reconnection. Some reconnections may be completed sooner, and we appreciate your patience as the team works through the requests.
Second Half Dues Deadline
The second half of your dues is due by Tuesday, April 1st. A 30-day grace period will be given. Late fees will begin on May 2nd, and electric shut-offs for unpaid accounts will also begin at that time.
Please note: If dues are not paid by the deadline, a $50 late fee plus interest will be applied. Unfortunately, we are unable to extend the due date. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the General Manager.
Credit Card Processing Fees
We’ve received some questions regarding credit card processing fees, and we’d like to clarify how these are applied.
RBMC offers members the flexibility of paying dues via credit card or online systems like QuickBooks Online. However, both QuickBooks and our credit card company charge us processing fees for these transactions.
To ensure fairness, these fees are passed along to members who choose to pay via credit card or online payment. This policy has been in place for several years and helps ensure that members who pay by cash or check are not subsidizing the additional charges.
We’re Here to Help
We understand that processing fees can sometimes be confusing, and we’re happy to assist with any questions. If you need clarification or have concerns regarding how fees are applied to your account, please reach out to the General Manager for assistance. Our goal is to make sure everything is clear and manageable for you.
Thank you for your attention to these important matters. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing everyone at the park soon!
